SEOUL, Oct. 27 (Yonhap) -- A contest dedicated to films and videos made with generative artificial intelligence (AI) will take place in Seoul in December, with winners set to become eligible for the final round in Silicon Valley, organizers said Tuesday.
The contest will take place across 12 categories, including AI narrative film, animation, documentary, advertising and music video, according to the organizers of the Silicon Valley AI Film Festival Korea.
Winners will be eligible to advance to the final round that will be held in Silicon Valley in January next year and compete alongside finalists from nine other cities, including Los Angeles, Beijing and London.
Awards for finalists in the Seoul contest will be presented on Dec. 17.
