SEOUL, Sept. 30 (Yonhap) -- "Dracula," a collaboration single between Australian act Tame Impala and BLACKPINK's Jennie, has extended its run in the top 10 of the U.S. Billboard's main singles chart to 18 consecutive weeks, setting a new personal record for the K-pop star.

The track held at No. 5 for a second straight week on the latest Billboard Hot 100, matching its highest position, according to Billboard on Tuesday (U.S. time).

The latest ranking extends Jennie's record for the longest consecutive run in the Hot 100's top 10 by a K-pop artist to 18 weeks.

Originally released as a solo track by Tame Impala in October last year, "Dracula" gained renewed traction after a remix featuring Jennie was released in February, going viral on short-form video platforms and climbing up the rankings. The song peaked at No. 5 on the Hot 100.

Elsewhere on the Hot 100, K-pop girl group Katseye's "Animal" ranked No. 30, down two spots from the previous week.

On the Billboard 200, the main albums chart, Stray Kids' "This & That" ranked No. 34.

BTS' fifth full-length album, "Arirang," came in at No. 40, followed by the original soundtrack of Netflix's animated film "KPop Demon Hunters" at No. 44 and Enhypen's "The Sin: Bliss" at No. 196.

Evan, a former member of Enhypen who recently made his debut as a solo artist, entered the chart for the first time at No. 49 with his debut EP, "Death of Me."

Katseye placed two albums on the Billboard 200, with "Wild" at No. 33 and "Beautiful Chaos" at No. 195.
